Sustaining Partner

Thanks for your interest in supporting the Knox Haven movement by becoming a Sustaining Partner. Sustaining Partners are critical to the long-term success of Knox Haven.  Beyond supporting the ongoing operational expenses, our sustaining partnerships facilitate building the infrastructure required by the Knox Haven initiatives to address the deepest needs of our participants.  Here’s how:

Counseling Services
The average cost of obtaining qualified assistance to address deep spiritual, emotional and physical care averages $100 – $150 per hour.  This cost is simply unattainable by many in the communities serviced by Knox Haven.  Even if insurance is available to cover these costs, substantial out of pocket expenses make obtaining this level of care cost prohibitive.  Sustaining Partners make it possible to fully staff the Knox Haven counseling center with individuals who have both the training and experience to address these critical issues.

Life Dominating Concerns
The Knox Haven communities are not exempt from the current life-enslaving crisis faced across the nation.  It takes a caring community that is ready to address these issues with a strong network that is able to touch individuals socially, relationally and communally.  Knox Haven is able to provide these services to the underserved because of the support of our sustaining partners.  From our weekly gathering to our future long-term residential work initiatives, the approach that differentiates Knox Haven from other providers in this area of service  are the deep, personal relationships that make the difference between success or failure.

Community Care
The complexities of contemporary life create unique challenges for both families and individuals who are stressed by relentless pressures that quickly drain the resources available to them.  Knox Haven’s Community Care initiative does much more than simply fill the gaps.  The old adage, “give a person a fish, feed them for a day; teach them how to fish, feed them for a lifetime” typifies what takes place for those invited to participate in the Knox Haven Community Care initiative. 

Financial Freedom
For many, the aspiration of establishing a sustainable financial foundation is a pipedream.  The solution to this dilemma is compounded with issues that quickly become overwhelming.  Knox Haven’s Financial Freedom initiative leads a deep-dive approach to understanding the underlying issues separating its participants from their dreams of financial stability.  Through training, coaching and counseling, along with integration across all of Knox Haven’s initiatives, the strategy is to equip and encourage participants to move forward with confidence and integrity.  Your support as a sustaining partner is key to helping participants to achieve a life-long aspiration.

Beyond one-time grants and gifts, there are three levels available for those interested in becoming a Knox Haven Sustaining Partner:

Equippers
Equippers form the largest group of Knox Haven sustaining partnerships.  At an annual commitment ranging from $500 USD to less than $1000 USD, Equippers ongoing support forms the backbone of financial stability for Knox Haven.  Ideal for families and individuals, Equippers are an ideal means to support Knox Haven on an ongoing annual basis.

Extenders
Extenders allow Knox Haven to build the infrastructure required to carry out the strategy that allows provision of the multifaceted approach to addressing many of the systemic issues our participants deal with on a daily basis.  The annual contribution level is  the $1000 USD and $5000 USD range.

Enlargers
Enlargers ensure that Knox Haven is able to sustain its ability to address the needs of its participants in the future.  The long-term health of Knox Haven, and its ability to grow the services required, is directly linked to this partnership group.  If you are looking for an opportunity for your business or philanthropic organization to support a dynamic, ground breaking organization in a substantial manner, please consider partnering with Knox Haven.
