Scott Williams, Director of Renewal, a former addict, struggled with alcohol and drugs for many years. Scott found himself in and out of jail, as well as working through multiple rehabilitation programs. Regardless of the venue, Scott would eventually find himself back at the same place over and over again… relapse. He knew there had to be a better way. That way began when he placed his trust in Jesus Christ to free him from the lifestyle that had once enslaved him. Wanting others to experience this same freedom, Scott began to volunteer at the notorious Morgan County State Correctional Facility. There, with great joy, Scott watched Christ begin to transformed lives in the most desperate of situations. God then led Scott to Renewal, where he continues to see the Word of God transform lives from bondage to freedom.
